But that’s not the point of this post. The point is that this article by Paul Hawkinson is going to help clients understand our commercial worth !

As recruiters there are too many times when we undersell ourselves or are too quick to give in to a clients demands to lower our fees. Have you ever questioned yourself as to why you are so quick to comply? You do all the work whether it was 12 – 6 months ago or even last week. The process that you have mastered in knowing where to find the best candidates and make them interested in your roles, should not go unrewarded.

A great line that I heard recently that ties in perfectly with this article.

“If you are to say no to my fees, you are saying yes to seeing only the second best that the market/my competitors have to offer”
